Up for auction is my super clean 1967 Chevelle SS396/4sp. To start with yes this car is a clone or tribute. The car started off life as a 136 vin Malibu. This car was restored around 2yrs ago and transformed into what you see now. The car has everything you would find on a true Super Sport minus the big block. Ok ,were to start? The body is super straight and rust free! All the lines and gaps are nice. The doors close like new. The car has been painted a version of marina blue with a bit of metallic. The paint job is a base clear job and turned out really nice. All of the trim was replaced with new including both bumpers and all new SS emblems and big block SS hood. The interior is all new as well with correct bucket seats,tilt wheel, SS steering wheel and correct tach. Has a nice CD stereo system with a amp. The motor is a 350/325hp crate motor with Edlebrock performer intake,Edelbrock carb,HEI distributor,Aluminum water pump,billet pulley system. Also has a Be Cool aluminum radiator and catch can. The transmission is a muncie M-21 4sp. The rear end is a rebuilt 12bolt 3.73 posi. Has a really nice custom exhaust done at Stan's headers in Auburn Washington . Includes stainless 3/4 length headers with dual 2 1/2inch exhaust with Flowmasters. The car sounds amazing!! Comes equipped with power disc brakes up front and power steering. Also has 17inch Torq thrust wheels up front and 18inch in the back. Tires are like new. I doubt the car has a few thousand miles since being restored. Everything works the way it should. The car runs and drives great. Always holds great oil pressure and never overheats. With the small block it gets decent millage and has plenty of power. That being said you could install your own built big block to finish off the theme of the car or leave it the way it is and enjoy . The car has been a hit at the local car show and cruise inn's. Always getting compliments and thumbs up. Check out the pics. The car is super clean inside and out. It only has a few minor blem's to be expected from being driven and are barley noticeable unless they are pointed out. The 67 Chevelle has to be one of the most sought after Chevelle's next to the 1970. That being said real Super sports are bringing a premium .
