1997 Ford Ranger XLT Pickup Truck A nice running Ford Ranger XLT with 172,000 miles. It has a V6 engine with 5-speed manual transmission. Features include cold AC plus aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD Radio with USB interface. Bedliner shown in pictures is included. Configuration: Extended Cab Bed Length: 6 Feet Additional Options: Tow Hookup (see pictures) Condition: Good running condition. Some dents to body on passenger side, but nothing requiring immediate attention (see pictures 21,22, and 23 for best views). Otherwise average interior and exterior wear. All accessories functional, passed California Smog at beginning of year and has current registration. Clear title. On Sep-08-18 at 23:00:24 PDT, seller added the following information: The correct engine in the truck is the 4 Cyl 2.3L, NOT a V6. Thank you to the bidder that brought this to my attention. I've double checked this against the maintenance records, and they also show 4 Cyl 2.3L. No - after the car is started, all return to their normal status and Check Engine is OFF. Does the car have any service history? Yes, there is a file filled with receipts that will be given to the buyer. After I sort them by date, I will post a summary here. Is the Air Conditioning in good working order? Yes. Are there any open service issues (functional)? Yes - there is a minor glitch that I haven't bothered to get repaired. Occasionally, when you turn the key to start the engine, it just clicks. The solution is to depress the clutch and move the stick. The safety switch that keeps the truck from starting while in gear is sticking. After I move the clutch and stick, it starts right up. It has been like that for a couple of years. Once I knew what was going on, it hasn't been a big issue. How many keys are included? One set of two keys (door and ignition) is included. I may have an additional key and am looking for it. If found, I will post an update. Can I make arrangements for a test drive and/or to see the truck? Sure!
