We are offering a classic 1976 Mercedes-Benz 300 Diesel. We are the second owners of this vehicle. Clean Texas title in hand. 98,262 original miles. There are a few small spots where the paint has been dinged and you can see a bit of rust; see photos. Our neighbor broke the passenger side window when he was mowing and we haven't been able to replace it. It's always great to have good neighbors. There's one small chip on the windshield but we can't blame our neighbor for that one either. The original water pump began leaking in 2017 and we tried to repair the old pump and then replaced it with new. During that repair, the fuel lines ran dry and the system needs to be bled to run. The engine turns over but does not fully start. The fuel gauge has never worked since we purchased the car. We do see some rust in front of the rear wheels. Rockers look good. We can't see underbody rust. Floor boards and fenders seem good with only minor rust in fenders and in trunk. Seats and engine both look good. A/C never worked. But the heater did work. The dash light was burned out. One of the front turn signal light clusters is cracked. Original Mercedes-Benz hood ornament is missing. This is, as far as we know, a mostly original classic car and we want it to go to a good home where someone has time to putter around with it and get it back to running condition. We also want to get it as far away from our neighbor as we can. You are welcome to pick it up in Cordell, Oklahoma and we will help you load it on your trailer.
