IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR INTERESTING OFFERS JUST ASK ....OK... this is my theory of how this car ended with orange carpet code 97f not totally proven i know only that it was a special sales model delivered to CONSTANTINE PONTIAC in pittsburgh pa. as far as im able to deduce it was something they just added to a delivery list of special cars that only constantine pontiac was to get since they were so well known for delivering specialty cars to certain people. i have been advertising this car for about 2 years now and no one has ever challenged my theory to date as the only delivered 1973 trans am with orange carpet option. code 97f . to this date i am still convinced that this car is a true 1 only orange carpet optioned car. i believe that PONTIAC HISTORICAL SERVICES will someday do a count of unusual options for 1973...which just so happens to be the only year they have not done this count for. and the only year this color option was available... i also believe that this hurst 4 speed car had a very limited amount of air conditioned manual driven cars since there were only 1420 4 speed manual driven cars manufactured...as far as verifying only PHS is left and would be able to do that. constantine pontiac is still around but who would you talk to..and at this point i believe it is the only one because it was not special ordered as far as im able to tell. i think it was produced purely as window candy only...while i cant prove it after the year was up they pulled the console and mounting brackets and orange carpet and changed it to a more wanted color just to get rid of it because the year was closing out...i say just think about it for a minute would anyone you know order an orange carpet for a red and white car. this 1973 ta was a stick it to your nose gm idea because the oil barrons were about to take everything away from all the car makers...and it truly was the very last of the late great cars of the 70's. after 73 the power was castrated from all the vehicles...orange carpet is in the head of the listing. as far as listing as the only one. i think ive almost have done that to death. this 73ta is believed to be the only orange carpet car not proven 1 OF1 thanks. no one has ever supllied any proof there is another orange carpet code 97f 1973 TRANS AM ever produced besides my car...which if there were based on how other PONTIAC owners are they would speak up and show proof immediately. and for 2 years i have been making this claim with no one coming forward...
