Please scroll down below this description for tons of detailed pics of the bike. Depending on your internet speed, they may take a while to load. We have the listing set up to accept bids only from US bidders in an effort to prevent scammers from ruining the auction. If you are a legitimate bidder outside of the US and you have a way to have the bike picked up at our location without it being crated, e-mail Chris at chris@motoworkschicago.com. Provide him with your ebay ID and confirm that you can arrange international shipping and have the bike picked up uncrated at our location in Chicago, and he will add you to the list that allows you to bid. We are a dealer but this scooter belongs to the owner, so it is a private party sale with no taxes or dealer fees collected. This Japanese import Gyro UP is one that I thought that I would keep forever, but she is so nice that I don't city ride her unless it's a special occasion. This scooter was bought new in Japan and imported to the USA. This is a fairly uncommon model in Japan, as the Gyro Canopy model dominates the domestic market there. It's a blast to ride. The chassis is very tight and robust. This scoot is not fragile at all. She is designed to carry heavy cargo on the streets. She tops out at 35mph. With only 559 kilometers on the clock, the condition is remarkable. It looks like it has never been left outside or even ridden in the rain. Despite some scuffs from use, it is truly beautiful to look at. The front left corner of the cargo bed is a little dented and if you look closely, you can tell that the corner has been repainted. There are some cool brochures included along with the owners manual and rider safety booklet. There is no title for this scooter since it is a Japanese market import. The "GYRO" license plate does not come with the scooter. We do have the VIN tag from a wrecked US model 1986 Honda Gyro TG50 with a matching clear title that you can have if you want it. There are 141 pictures below detailing the condition of the bike. Please look at all of them carefully and ask any questions you have before bidding. You can call Chris at 773-474-1744, e-mail him at chris@motoworkschicago.com, or contact him through ebay. It's located at Motoworks in the city of Chicago. If you are local and would like to see it in person, please call 773-474-1744 to set up an appointment. Shipping a motorcycle can be expensive, so be sure to look into it before bidding. The zip code is 60608 to help in figuring shipping. Our recommendation for a great shipper is Danny at D&K Services. He can be reached at 973-534-7823. Winning bidder picks up in Chicago or arranges for/pays for all shipping/crating. We can deliver it locally for $1.50 per mile round trip ($20 minimum). $500 deposit via PayPal due within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder via one of the standard payment methods within seven days. No PayPal for remainder unless you contact us first. The bike is to be picked up within three weeks of auction close. $25 per week storage fee after that.
