I have for sale this '55 4-door Bel Air that I purchased from the son of the deceased owner. I have a clear Ohio title in my name. The gentleman that owned the car had purchased it from a school teacher in Bidwell, OH, in 1970. The son showed me many trophies that the car had won over the years. It has new oil, a new battery, a fresh tune-up job, and the carburetor was just rebuilt. The car runs and drives well. We just had it in the July 4th parade. It is currently insured and licensed, and I drive it periodically. The tires do have some weather cracking in them, but they have not caused me major concern. The body has been touched up over the years. The floor is solid with the exception of a small, soft spot on the driver's front floorboard. The windshield has some delamination. The passenger rear window has a small crack down low. Please do not expect a show car. This car would be more of a driver-quality car. Two forms of payment will be accepted: cash at pickup or a certified bank check. If paying by check, my bank typically puts a seven-business-day hold on all checks. I will not release the vehicle until funds have cleared. I will not ship. If shipping is required, it will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. This auction is for US bidders only.
