Vehicle Detail

Soon To Be A Classic, and Hard to Find, 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 Shortbed LS, 4X4 with the Z71 Package. Truck is 18 years old, and and has been well taken care of, with less than 154,000 Miles. As far as what I know, I am the 2nd Owner, and the original owner was in his 70's, and bought the truck New. I have had it for the last 6 years, and Have always Babied it. The Truck is Super Straight. Z71 Suspension with Tow & Haul Package. Goodyear Duratec Semi-Aggressive Tires with approx 65-70% Tread Remaining. Push Button 4WD. Upgraded Sound System includes MB Quart Speakers, Alpine CD with it's own amp, as well as an amp for the 10" Pioneer Sub behind the seat, which have all been Professionally Installed. THE DETAILS: I will be as honest as I possibly can be about the condition of the truck, and what I know. I just got back from a 2000 mile trip, and the truck Runs, and drives Great. Steering is Tight, and the Brakes Are Good. This Sporty Truck runs the Mountain Passes like it's on a Race Track, and Floats around Tight Corners, with Plenty of power and is a Smooth, Fun Ride! EVERYTHING works on the Truck. It is the LS Model, and has all the Power Options, including Dual Power Seats, Windows, and Mirrors. The Rear Gear of the transmission went out a couple years ago, (which is common on this year of Silverado) So I went ahead and had the transmission completely rebuilt at a cost of around $2,200, from one of the most reputable transmission shops in the area, that has been in business for over 25 years. It has a 20,000 mile warranty, and I believe there is at least half of the warranty remaining. I haven't cleaned the engine compartment, since I have owned the truck. I have kept it unclean to show that there is nothing leaking or Any issues with motor. (Not a spray it down and disguise the motor scenario) The fuel pump has also been replaced with a Top of the Line, Lifetime Warranty Pump, at $500 and should be good to go for a long time. ( I have paperwork for the transmission and the fuel pump) There is a minor ding on the front and rear bumper, and the top of the bed. Paint Looks Great from 6 feet away, but the truck is 18 years old, and not perfect. The truck looks nice how it is, but a cut and buff would do wonders. It has some tiny rock chips on the hood, but overall for an 18 year old truck, the paint looks amazingly well. The windshield is cracked, and needs replaced. (I was planning on getting this done, but haven't had time) Interior is remarkably nice for its age, but the previous owner smoked in it, and there are some burn spots on the carpet, that are hardly noticeable, due to the color of the carpet. The burns are just surface burns. There are about 5-7 of them where an ash hit from a cigarette, and are below the console, on the carpet and are unnoticeable unless you are looking for them. The drivers seat on the edge has about a 1.5" slit from wear of getting in and out. It is missing (1) piece of chrome around the fenders, and the others have a few dings in them, which could easily be replaced, or I would take them off all together. The exhaust, catalytic converter, and pipes are all in Great Shape. Ice Cold A/C, and Hot Heat. Cruise Control works Great, Push Button 4WD Drive Works like it should. Headliner is clean, as well as the rest of the interior for an 18 year old truck, aside from the superficial burn marks on the carpet. All the Lights work. There is one lens missing on the lower fog light, and one piece of trim that fell off. ( I would personally remove all the trim) The Factory Tail lights have been replaced with sportier after market. One of the tail lights has a very small chip on the top, that is hardly noticeable. The truck was bought originally I believe in Oregon, and has spent the last 6 years in Idaho. They don't use salt on the roads in either state, so rust isn't a factor on this truck. Just some typical surface rust at best on the undercarriage. 5.3 Vortec, Automatic V-8 Motor That Runs Like a Top, and shifts through the gears flawlessly . These motors are known to Run Forever. The Tranny and Fuel Pump have already been replaced, so I would expect this truck has many more miles, before any major issues will need to be addressed. They made VERY Few of this EXACT model and they are Rarely seen for sale. (In fact, I haven't been able to find this EXACT model ANYWHERE on line for sale, and have only seen 3 available on Ebay over the last year) There are lots of '99-00' extra cab short box available, even fewer single cab 4x4 shortys, but the single cab 4x4 short bed with the Z71 LS package seems to be almost extinct. Truck is located in Coeur d' alene, Idaho, and will need to be picked up, or I can assist with shipping if needed. The Nearest International Airport is 35 miles away. Fly in, and drive it home! The title is clean and clear in my name. Serious bidders only please. A $500 Paypal deposit will be required within 24 hours of auctions end, and cash or bank issued cashiers check on delivery. Once the funds have cleared Pickup or shipping will be ready. I think I have included everything I know about the truck. Please inquire if you have any questions. This is a Good Solid Truck, and I think the New Owner will be very happy with it. The only reason I am selling, is to fund a new business venture. Thanks for looking.
