Up for sale is one of the absolute cleanest F-250's around. This F-250 Super Duty was special ordered in 2000 just as you see it. It is the XLT option (power windows, power locks, CD player, cruise controls on the steering wheel). Now what really sets this particular truck apart from others in this generation is that it is the FULL crew cab with the 8 FOOT BOX. It has the legendary 6.8L V10 with ONLY 96,833 miles. That's right, a 2000 with under 97,000 miles. That's under 5,400 miles a year! Okay so now we have a well optioned truck that has good mileage. Any person that is in the market for a truck knows that the biggest issue is usually condition. Usually the truck was worked real hard, its all dented, or most often (especially here in the Northeast) its rusted/rotted away. This truck is seriously a UNICORN when it comes to the condition. It spent the first 3 years of it's life in Florida and the last 15 years it has been used sparingly during the summer months to haul a small camper around. The truck was always garaged when it was not being used and it has never seen a salted road or a flake of snow. Take a look at those undercarriage pictures of the frame and floors. Look at the rockers and bottom of the doors. It is hard to find trucks that were built 3 or 4 years that look this good!! The interior is in near perfect condition. The drivers seat bottom has some very very minor wear. That is it. The rest of the interior looks like it has barely been sat in. All the electronics work as they should. The 6.8L V10 fires up and runs perfectly (just like a well maintained low mileage motor should). The air conditioning blows cold. The transmission shifts without issue and the truck tracks very nicely down the road. The truck has the full tow package with the integrated trailer brake control in the cab. The truck has a Fab Tech Suspension lift and it sits on 16 inch Eagle Alloy rims with 315/75/16 BF Goodrich tires. The truck looks very stout and does not look foolish like some trucks that are jacked way too high. It looks rugged and tough but it still looks proper. The only issues with the truck at all is the tires have worn unevenly a bit and have some dry rot cracks from the truck being driven sparingly over the last few years (it was only driven 230 miles over the last year!) Other than the tires some of the suspension bushings look like they could use new rubber some time in the future. That is it for this truck. This is a two-wheel drive truck. It would make perfect use for a work crew, landscaping, seal coating, tree cutting etc... Or for a family of 6 or 7 that wants to haul a nice camper. This truck can haul anything and can fit the whole family. With the low miles and fantastic condition this truck will make someone a nice rig for many years to come. The reserve is set VERY low for this truck. I want to sell it so I have set it very reasonably. Someone will be getting A LOT of truck for the money. There just aren't many of these trucks left around in this condition. Most of these trucks were beat on and worked to death. I doubt there are any other trucks in this condition, with a crew cab long box, with this mileage anywhere in the Northeast.
