I have for sale this 1986 BMW 635csi. I do have a clear Ohio title in my name. Based on the information given to me by the former owner, this car has been sitting for a while because the AC quit working. He bought a new valve for the AC, and it is included in the sale. While sitting, apparently a problem with the fuel delivery system developed. I am unsure if the problem is in the pump in the tank or the helper pump or both. I put a newer battery on the vehicle, shot some ether in the intake, and the car fired right up and sounded good. The newer battery will be included in the sale. I have not attempted to drive the vehicle because of the fuel problem. I can start it so the successful bidder can hear it run. The car would be considered a project. There are multiple places on the body that need some repair. The interior is fair, with some trim panels broken. Also, the glove box door latch is broken. There is a new headliner that is included in the sale, but it has gotten dirty from sitting around. The receipt for the headliner is included, and the cost was $180. There are several thousand dollars worth of receipts from previous owners that are included. Obviously, the car will need to be towed. There is a tractor on site to assist with loading. I will not ship. If shipping is required, it will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. This auction is for US bidders only. Please do not ask me to end the auction early. Two forms of payment will be accepted: cash at pickup or a certified bank check. If paying by check, my bank will put up to a seven-business-day hold until funds have cleared. I will not release the vehicle until funds have cleared my bank.
