1957 Ford Fairlane Custom 300!! Must be seen to appreciate. You know how hard 300s are to come by , even being a four-door it's still small compared to a Fairlane 500.This car has been painted in the last year , also the interior has been recovered in red Tweed and looks awesome. I think it's the original 272 Y block V8 is unbelievably reliable just turn the key and it catches on the first crank and Fire's to life. And the new exhaust has a great rumble The body is Crazy straight and wave free . The bright work has held up well to be 60 years old. The bumpers have not been rechromed but still look presentable. This car has been fixed as a driver , I going to say that again THIS IS A GREAT DRIVER !! The man I purchased it from Said it was one of the the best cars he has saw to start a restoration on . He said all he has done was patched up a couple of places in the floor ( I had to take his word for that because I'm disabled and can't get down to look but my wife says that there is no holes ) and had the interior recovered in red Tweed with red carpet . The he painted it in two tone red and white . If you have kept up with my auctions or talked to me on the phone you know I never ever recommend driving a older vehicle back home . But this one I make exception , I will be glad to pick you up at Charlotte Douglass Airport and feel confident that you can drive it anywhere no matter what distance with no incident ( if you can stand the lack of AC .
