Additional detailed photos and video can be provided. Bills Auto Sales was an eBay seller (456 teal star rating) and a licensed VA dealership selling classic and vintage cars in Culpeper. When the business closed four years ago, the remaining 35 cars (Bills favorites) were put into storage buildings on the farm. Now Harness Grove, is selling all of the remaining cars in the collection. These are not ‘barn finds’ but they will require some attention before being placed back into service. After years of inactivity we do not recommend driving any of the vehicles until all safety and suspension systems have been inspected. Transporting the cars using a truck or trailer is encouraged. All purchases are as is, where is and no warranties are provided. These vehicles are being purchased as final sale. We encourage pre purchase inspections but will not make adjustments for cars inspected after the auction closes. Bidding in this auction is a contract to purchase the vehicle if you have the winning bid. Only bid if you are prepared to buy AND have a PayPal account for the deposit. A $500 deposit is required via PayPal at the auction close with the balance due in full within three days. Balance of payment will be cash or wire transfer. Bank checks will take three days to clear. Cars will be released after funds are confirmed as received into our account. We are not a dealership and do not accept trades or provide financing. We do not provide shipping services but will assist your carrier with loading the vehicle.On Jul-26-18 at 13:58:15 PDT, seller added the following information: We found a hexagon brass tag at the rear of the engine with 7172 engraved on it. It matches the number on the large square plate on the firewall. The door bottoms are scraping when opening due to sagging but no body filler is evident (we did a magnet test) There is no tool kit, only the mallet for the wire knock off wheels is in the box. There are no other spares except the two canvas tops (white and black) included in the sale The condition of the wheels is good, little to no rust pitting. The frame also looks good with only surface rust. The car was purchased in 2013 and put into a large collection. We have never registered the car for road use and it has only been repositioned in the storage building or occasionally driven on the farm. The car's title was recently transferred to Harness Grove and is a clean Virginia title. A bill of sale will also be included.
