Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1979 F-250 Ranger Lariat Original Paint Survivor Ranger Exterior Trim Lariat Interior Trim 460 AT PS PB AC Zero Rust Truck 53k Miles! Please, bid only if you can afford to pay within 3 days of auction’s end. No zero or low-feedback buyers without contacting me first. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions. International buyers are welcome IF they can get me paid within 3 days. I have waited weeks before for international buyers to follow through. Rare, loaded, and original 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger Lariat high-line pickup still wearing its original Dark Ginger Metallic and Cream two-tone paint. Loaded to the gills including the powerful 460 4v V8 engine option, C6 heavy-duty automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, cruise control, tilt steering column, air conditioning (complete but needs to be recharged/serviced), dual fuel tanks, tow/haul package, Ranger “Race Track” exterior trim package, Lariat interior trim package, original steel wheels with full wheel covers, CB radio, and more. The truck just received a thorough professional detail inside and out, and as you can see, she is still very good-looking. The original factory paint is still very shiny and shows well, as you can see. Being original and not a repaint, you can expect minor dings, scratches, rubs, etc. The paint is thinning on the hood and roof; it's lived in a dry, sunny climate... still shows beautifully, I've take a close-up of the hood so you can see. Original paint, so nothing hidden. The dash pad is very nice, the dash and gauges great, the headliner excellent, and the rare Lariat original seat upholstery outstanding, along with the matching Lariat door panels. The original carpet still looks great with minimal wear. I would not hesitate to say that the interior is in very good to excellent condition. Good glass throughout, and the windows roll up and down smoothly. The original camper mirrors are present, and the doors have no extra holes. Original factory steel wheels and hubcaps make for a nice, unmolested original look. The CB antenna is mounted on an under-hood inner fender bracket using a factory bolt... no holes drilled and reversible if you wish to remove the CB. The truck is in very sound daily-driver mechanical condition with good brakes, a fresh tune up and carburetor rebuild, and new fluids & filters. Bone-stock both under the hood and throughout. Super easy to drive, steer, and stop with full power steering. This has been a local two-owner truck since new, and has spent the last 20+ years on a ranch, running into town on occasion. The odometer reads just over 55k miles and are stated to be original by the previous owner; I beilive this to be true, and is supported not only by the excellent mechanical condition, but the amazing condition of the original unrestored Lariat seat, original carpet, lightly-worn pedal pads, solid door hinges, suspension/steering, et cetera. This is great classic survivor Ford truck that still shows well, turns heads, and won’t break the bank. I can help get it shipped to you anywhere in the continental USA with a broker I’ve used many times. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 39-year-old used classic vehicle, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please expect minor issues associated with a used vehicle of this era; while very nice and very sound, I haven’t met a survivor yet that was perfect. Known issues include the AC needing a recharge, and the cruise control not currently functioning. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Again, feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. My shop is Rose Lane Restorations in Vancouver, WA. While we are known for our high-end restoration work, these classics are only original once, and it's nice to offer up a survivor when possible. Thanks, Tim
