Well I'm sure no expert on British Bikes, But I just came ascoss this 750 / 5 spd. Tiger by way of a friend who's uncle bought it new and gave it to him years ago. This is what I call a "Barn Find" because it has sat in a garage, idle for 25 years or so.The minuses are... It does not have a title. You will need to obtain a title for it yourself, as the original owner is no longer living. The bike has typical surface rust from sitting. The pluses are... This 1978 Tiger 750cc has dual disc brakes and left hand shift, as well as the 5 speed gearbox. The engine spins free and was running fine when last parked (it still has the nasty gas and key in it) but it is not currently a running motorcycle. It has 19,200 miles on it. Some one more mechanical than myself could most likely have it up and going again in fairly short order? It is over 40 years old and being sold as-is) I would much rather you hope for the best and plan for the worst than be disappointed in anyway. If I do not sell it as-is, I will have my mechanic get it up and going again and re-list it accordingly. I have the key as well as the original owners manual for it. My opening bid is $1400 with no reserve. This could be a neat rider or perhaps make a nice restoration project? Now... all this having been said... It.s sure not perfect, but I cant imagine finding a more complete and original (matching numbers), or a more unmolested bike like this for the price. I am honest and dependable and the buyer can count on me for a smooth and simple transaction. Terms of sale...I can not ship.....
