2006 VW Jetta TDI, auto trans, diesel. 43-45mpg. The car has approx.. 223K miles but recently did the major engine overhaul (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, belts, etc). New all-season tires and an extra set of winter tires on brand new steel rims with brand new VW factory hub caps (see last 2 picts). Everything works great. No issues. Leather heated front seats, with 5 settings. Non-smoker car and has always been kept very clean. VW has a 12 year factory warranty on paint defects so I took it in and they ended up putting a new front fender on, a new trunk lid, redid both rocker panels and touched up passenger front door and both rear quarter panels, then repainted all those panles. The car has ZERO rust issues. That being said, there are a few scratches, small ding and dents here and there. There are 2 small creases in drivers door, the hood has scratches and the rear passenger door has a small dent by the handle. Those were not covered by VW. The car is 12 years old but it doesn't look it.At 43-45 mpg, I have saved approximately $1,000 / yr. in gas savings over a regular gas vehicle.It has the rubber VW factory winter floor mats, recent new tires, recently new brake pads front and rear that are in excellent conditions, because I just changed over to the summer wheels and inspected the brakes. Brand new oil change. The car needs nothing and always passes inspection no problem. Very solid, safe and reliable. The car was in a very minor front end accident (into and up onto a snowbank) 2 winters ago. It needed a drivers front fender, front bumper cover, drivers side headlight. The hood was fine, the grill was fine, no airbags, no underside damage. The insurance company totaled the car due to the repairs being more than 50% of the cars value. Ridiculous... so I bought it back and had the work done to fix it. I've been driving it for 2 years with no issues. BUT, unfortunately, the car has a "collision damage" title.
