1998 Mercedes Benz SLK230 Launch Edition A True ClassicThe Hardtop Convertible that Started it all This vehicle has been driven daily during recent years. It has fresh premium tires, wheels, rotors, brakes and battery. All of the keys and original delivery items are included.The brake fluid, rear differential and coolant have all been recently flushed and replaced and the car has been well maintained. It does not have any major oil leaks or issues, just a few EZ repairs. It does have a cracked windscreen, a minor oil leak, multiple scratches, scuffs, chips and is in need of some bulb replacement to the cluster, it also will throw code P0455 evap. sys (gas cap) most likely caused by a vacuum line. The drivers door was recently replaced with a new original Mercedes Benz Original Door after someone backed into me in a parking lot. All of the features and function are working properly including ice cold air, heated seats and Bluetooth Alpine Stereo. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts properly. The mileage is original and documented although the state of NC will use "mileage exempt" on the title due to age.
