After 50 years of restoring my own personal cars - mostly Mercedes and Jaguars, but others going back to 1914 and a Classic 1934 Pierce Arrow, I am hanging it up at age 71 and selling my last two Mercedes. I bought this car sight unseen for the engine, only showing 125K miles, but when it was delivered i discovered that it was much too nice to part out, so decided to bring it back to life. It had sat for a long time so I cleaned out the gas tank and fuel lines and installed two new Mercedes fuel pumps. It starts on the first turn and runs decent. Straight body and doesn't leak a drop of oil. Original Mercedes mats and three AMG wheels. Original CD Changer and player in the trunk. The tires are old. The windshield is cracked and the clear coat is peeling. I bought all new front end parts to start a ground up, but too tired now. The new front end parts go with the car. Interior is decent. Most of the electrics work, including the clock. I don't know about AC or Cruise. I've driven it to 60 mph, but no faster with the old tires. I would consider it an easy restoration. I think that the price is fair for both of us. I am also selling it's brother, but it is more expensive. I'll make a deal for both cars and extra Mercedes parts. The correct listing price on this car is $3250.
