This is a lost project of a real 1967 Mustang factory 390 fastback. I will tell you what I know about the car. A lot of nice work has been done do this car, now someone has to bring it to the finish line. Factory "S" code 390 car with matching fender apron numbers on both sides that match a clean Indiana title dated 1972. Car does not have any drivetrain, and has 8 inch rear end. No disc brakes on the fron just drum on both front and rear. Car has one piece floor pan installed, with original rocker panels still in place. Rear quarters are original with some minor repair needed (see photos) Car was stripped and put in epoxy primer. There is a urethane primer on top of that. There is no bondo anywhere on car. front fenders and hood are new reproduction that have also been primed. Trunk lid is also new and primed. Trunk floors are original and nice. Rear frame rails are original and nice (see photos) Front clip is really nice, epoxy primed and semi gloss black painted. Drivers door needs bottom, passenger door is nice. All glass is present and correct. All rear and front chrome moldings are present and nice. Front engine compartment is all original metal and date coded and nice. Front valance is nice, rear not so nice. The car I think came from down south, it shows rust in unusual places. Rear tail lite panel I would replace. Inner wheel wells are nice. Check photos and please ask lots of questions before you bid. All interior fastback parts are original and in usable condition. Fold down seat is really nice, trap door seats are original condtion and need replacement seat covers. Wiring harness looks uncut, complete, dash gauges, steering column all correct and complete. The right person finishing this stock or as Shelby clone could be a big money car. I can assist with shipping at new owners expense. Car has very reasonable reserve. Someone wanted a Marti report on the 67 s code fastback. It was pointed out to them that all S code cars should have T as build location in the vin number. I listed as F. I doubled checked title and fender stampings and T is correct and that is what fender stampings and title do read. Sorry for the mistake, again proves this is the real thing.
