1997 Saturn SL1 4 door SEDAN 67,000 Miles. That's only 3500 miles a year.Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1997 Saturn SL1 with just 67k miles. The Saturn SL1 needs no introduction.One of its greatest attributes was the economy of owning one. Consistent reviews of owners getting between 30 to 38MPG. It was a lightweight car, more so because of the body exterior was clad in high impact, durable, low weight materials. The versatility of the rear seats folding down, greatly expands the ability to carry lots of long things - a bicycle, a kayak, a canoe? Well, maybe not a canoe.... but you get the idea. See the pictures.It is one of the most reliable, versatile cars ever produced. I would rate the exterior of this Saturn SL1 to be in GOOD to EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The worst I can say about the exterior of this Saturn SL1 is that there is smaller impact mark on the right front bumper. The body lines themselves look pretty straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The finish shines well. I did not see any rust on the body of this Saturn SL1. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The steel wheels with hubcap covers show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Saturn SL1 to be in GOOD to AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The interior is pretty basic. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show wear on the driver's back cushion, as you can see in the photos. The windows roll up and down easily. The radio is original. The heater fan / A/C Fan works in all speeds. The headliner has separated in some area. The A/C is COLD and works fine. Window tinting helps keep the interior cool. Mechanically, this Saturn SL1 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an old car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. These are fun cars that you can drive at their limit without being afraid of it. That is what makes these cars so great. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The little four cylinder engine is more than enough for this small sedan. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. You'll have a ball driving this Saturn SL1.
