Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1969 Ford F100 Ranger Package - Long Bed Truck with its Factory original 360 V8 engine and C6 auto transmission. Also equipped with power steering and power drum brakes. She starts right up and runs, accelerates, drives, shifts, turns, and stops beautifully. Lots of recent new parts include: Fuel tank, sending unit, carburetor, fuel pump, distributor, spark plugs, wires, solenoid, coil, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake lines, power steering pump, bushings, dual exhaust, fresh oil and filter, chrome front bumper and 4 new Optima 235/75R15 tires with not even 5 miles on them. This truck is mechanically sound and road ready. Body is straight and in very good condition. This truck does NOT have any rust and has never had any body work done. It was painted in its original Ford candy apple red and Wimbledon white colors many years ago and is showing age and use. There are scratches and normal wear on the paint, mostly inside the bed and the top edges of the bed. The top edge of the tailgate has a dent. Still, she looks great. The cab does leak in heavy rain near the kick panels, either through the cowl or firewall. That being said, this truck has been garaged most of its life and the original floor pans look great showing the original red paint and a only a few minor surface rust spots. The frame and undercarriage are also in very good shape. Interior is very presentable. Just installed new carpet and seat upholstery kit. Also installed a new gauge lense. Has a dash cap which was installed some time ago which looks nice. Doors open and close well, glass is all good, windows roll down and up good, all lights work and even the original AM radio is working. A horn button has been installed on the steering column and it works. Lots of these classic trucks out there in all different condition levels. This is one of the nicer original trucks out there now.
