Up for auction I have a 1977 honda cb550f super sport. The bike has 22,879 miles on it. I have a NY title for the bike but not in my name. There is no key for the bike. The bike is all original and mostly complete. These bikes are becoming harder to find. Overall the bike is in decent condition. It still has all original paint. The tank has some fading on the top and also some dings and scratches. The left side panel is also original paint and is not cracked. It is missing the right side panel. The seat cover is shot. The chrome is in decent shape. The front fender has a small ding, otherwise is nice. The rear fender is cracked. Both of the wheels have some minor rust. The rear brake is working but the front sticks a little. The handlebar switches move properly, the gauges are in excellent shape, has original mirrors, it is missing the ignition cylinder and the key. All the lights are intact. The rear tail light is aftermarket. The bike is also lowered. The bike is not currently running but the engine turns over and has good compression. Most likely with a tune up and fuel system cleaning it would run. The throttle moves properly. The clutch pull feels good, it shifts through the gears. The bike still has the original exhaust, there are some dings and rust on the exhaust. It is missing the airbox and the one engine side cover. Overall with a little work this could be a great bike to get back on the road. There are not many of these bikes on the road anymore especially with original paint.
