As you probably know if you look at my history . I love old Ford's . My wife does animal rescue and I feel the same about old Ford's . I try to save them by finding them a good home , the little money I make she spends. This is a 73 xlt ranger , that's been painted with house paint , I can see the bed has some rust , I took pictures and will be glad to get extras if you shoot me a text . The cab is strong with only minor rust close to the front fender where they collect dirt . Hood is straight and rust free and so are the doors . This old girl has already sold once on eBay to a nice gentleman from VA but due to unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the transaction . Since the last auction I have now installed a new gas tank and lines . It's got a late 80s ex police car 351 that runs so quite that it's hard to tell if it's running . I was told by the last owner that it's got a oil pan gasket leak but it doesn't appear to be too bad . Make no mistake it's a 45 year old truck that is begging for you to restore it . I have only driven it home when I purchased it and around the neighborhood. One thing it had going for it is orginal paperwork . Including buildsheet and warranty book with metal card . I have a early 70s 360 that was running when pulled for a extra 100.00 and I have a friend who is a shipping broker who will get you the best rates around . This truck came loaded with power steering , brakes and Ac . It can be driven and used as a second vehicle while you restore it.
