Vehicle Detail

1971 Chevrolet, Factory Big Block truck You can drive this truck ANYWHERE you want, Dependable DESCRIPTION- Will give a little history, then will list some of the details in descriptions.Older gentleman had this truck in Ky. It was a factory dark olive green/white, he used it in and around house all the years, very solid truck. Re-done truck and completed from, New paint-slick orange/white, new interior, new wheels/tires, all new chrome, trim, drive-train all redone, drives great (dependable). TRUCK itself, has 113K miles on it, not alot of miles for 47 years old, but truck was done in late 2016. I am selling cause I need something with a back seat and I like older cars. I Have A CLEAN/CLEAR Tennessee Title, in my name. This truck has been redone, all new from paint, to interior and all trim, chrome, etc.. I have the Protect O Plate, date 4/7/1971-Huntsville. Alabama. The truck, cab and all was taking apart to change the color, not a SEMA show truck but a nice truck to go to any local show, and drive anywhere you want, and get compliments ALL the time. ENGINE: Not the original, but a date coded 1971 454. Originally, it was a factory 396 truck, so it is a factory big block truck. Motor is basically stock, build to original specs. and built for driving, I mean anywhere. Runs cool anywhere at anytime.Does NOT smoke. Has factory power steering Power disc brakes Automatic transmission New exhaust and ran to rear of truck near end of bed corner Electric choke is working and starts right up when cold, and idles without having to play with the gas, like most older vehicles. Even after driving 100 miles and stopping for gas, it starts right back up easy, most hesitates after getting warmed up to start back, not this one. BODY/EXTERIOR: - Very solid body, was a factory 2 tone, green and white, now a slick orange and white. Built this truck cause it was so solid. Paint is BETTER than driver quality. ALL NEW woodgrain trim and on tailgate, all new trim down at bottom and upper side New door handles, mirrors, leneses, grill, bumpers frt./rear Underneath is NO rust and very solid in all the corners, and frame rails Runs, drives, handles, stops very nice.Does not pull or jerk when you stop. Like I said, you can drive this truck to any show or cruise in, no matter how far. New inner fender wells, under hood is clean ready for a show Tailgate open and shuts very good, has new hinges Has the springs to lower it down, to a level look, and looks sweet going or coming down the road New Riddler 20" wheels and Tires, 275/40/20 and 255/35/20 INTERIOR: - Woodgrain on dash bezel and the glovebox with inner liner 3 Spoke steering wheel Has the bench seat with matching Orange/Black Houndstooth (Hard to find) New black carpet, with new dash pad, door panels, kick panels I put a set of new thick rubber mats, they alone was $169, not cheap ones New dash bezel housing, lighter, dome light and housing, Am/FM cassette New glovebox liner and glovebox door opens and closes easy, most don't even open Gas tank has been flushed with new sending unit and it works Updated gear in transmission so the speedometer is dead on, to match the new 20" wheels front and rear, with the new tires Windows roll up/down good, with all original glass except back window Everything works on the truck like it should, Lights (bright an dim) turn signals, brake lights, dash lights, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge, gas gauge, speedometer, EVEN the tag light works, etc...Only thing that doesn't work, is dome light, and I will prob. get that fixed real soon, no biggie. Like I said, it is a slick, very nice, clean truck. It is a long bed, but like so many people have said, they are getting hard to fine, especially this nice, with this stance. Have seen the patina trucks, with little surface rust, bringing in the low to mid twentys, with them needing bumpers, trim, interior work, etc.. (crazy) This truck has been drove, like you are suppose to do with old cars/trucks, enjoy them, thats what is nice about this truck, get in and drive anywhere, and gets the attention. Gaurantee, you can drive this truck home, where ever you are from. I keep it in a climate controlled garage, and wipe it down everytime I get back from a trip or just local cruising. Options- I can assist with a shipper OR if you set your own shipper up, I will work with them to make it easy. Have done that many times, and went smooth. Uses an Enclosed or Open trailer. Any Questions, please ask, don't mind giving my number, but a lot of people just call and talk about what they used to own or what they like to own, is only reason I don't put my number out. I check my email pretty frequently, unless it's after 10:00 pm, then I will check next morning. I'm an Early riser. Thank you for looking and interest. On Jun-02-18 at 09:30:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Due to some personal reasons that just came about yesterday, I am going to lower my reserve ALOT less than I have in the truck, hate to go this low for the truck, couldn't replace it for this. Thanks, someone will get a good truck for what you couldn't build it for.
