This beetle had a full frame off restoration several years ago and has just had new brakes, front and rear bearings as well as cleaning up the wiring harness. I have included photos of the floor pans on both sides showing no rust whatsoever as well as some photos of the pan and under the engine showing the oil plug. the car has semaphore turn signals which probably should be updated to blinking units but everything on it now was done to original 1956 spec including the original Strato Silver paint as shown on the Birth Certificate from VW. the only flaw to note as shown in the photos is some minor paint bubbling above the drivers side exhaust, this is not rust it was caused by an aftermarket exhasut that was on the car after being painted where the heat was not venting properly and it blistered the paint, this is a pretty minor fix, paint is flawless on the rest of the car. As this car was done to 1956 spec it has the old style crashbox transmission which is quite different in feel from the later versions, it does not take long to get used to but it can be surprising if you are unfamilar with how older Beetles drive. The car looks and drives exactly as it should and it draws a ton of attention both on the street and at Cars and Coffee, it also won a trophy at its first car show. I have lots of books that will come with the car and it comes with the absolute rarest and most desireable option, a Hazet Tourist toolkit in mint condition, this alone goes for about $1000 by itself here on ebay.
