Up for sale is a 2004 Honda S2000 finished in Sebring silver metallic over a black leather interior. This example spent the majority of its life in North and South Carolina and has accumulated 176,000 miles. It features a 2.2L 4-cylinder engine generating 240 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. 2004 marks the 2nd generation S2000 or AP2 which features many revisions and additions compared to the 1st generation models. New 17 inch rims, a retuned suspension, a more rigid subframe, carbon fiber gearbox synchronizers, revised front and rear bumpers, and a lengthened stroke increasing displacement by .2 liters are some of the most notable AP2 improvements. Like all S2000's, a 6 speed manual transmissions comes as standard in addition to a power retractable soft top. The soft top is in incredible condition with no tears or major creases. An upgraded radio head unit with aftermarket Bluetooth are the only modifications to this otherwise stock example. This S2000 has been well-maintained with fresh oil every 5,000 miles and a clean and thorough CarFax. Additionally, valve cover, coilpack, and VTEC solenoid seals were replaced 50 miles ago with a fresh oil change. The interior has little wear and the clutch and gearbox are very strong; there is no question this is a Honda! The exterior paint has some minor imperfections: a few scratches on the front fenders and a small area of cracking paint on the front and rear bumpers. Overall, this S2000 is in great shape and ready for many miles of top down enjoyment.
