I'm selling my 1981 Suzuki GS1000G shaft drive motorcycle. I love riding this bike around. It has good power and I like the gear ratios on it. Cruses at 60 MPH at about 3500 RPM. Nice. This bike is mainly all stock as you can see. The tank is clean inside there is some paint discoloration around the gas cap but not bad. The seat is stock, no rips or tears in it, very nice shape. Fenders, tail section and side covers are also in good shape. Exhaust system is in nice shape also, no rust holes or dents. I had new Dunlop D404 tires installed on it two seasons ago. It does smoke some on the initial cold start up but than goes away and there is some oil weeping in the front the engine. It doesn't burn much oil. It has been like this since I have owned it, 4 years, and have not done anything about it. I am no expert on these engines so have not torn into it. I believe the previous owner did, but I have no idea what he did to it. I don't know where he is now. The engine has good compression and pulls hard down the road. Plenty of power for me. Check pictures out, condition speaks for itself. Nice clean vintage Suzuki. You just don't find many of these around in this condition any more.
