Up for auction I have what I believe is a 1971 triumph tr6c trophy. I can not find a vin number anywhere on the frame, it has been repainted several times and can't find the numbers anywhere so I am going by the engine numbers. The engine looks to be original to the frame as there are no frame modifications to fit the engine in. There is No TITLE for the bike. These bikes are very rare and becoming hard to find. Overall the bike is in pretty good condition but does need some work. All the bodywork has been repainted red, good quality job but does have some chips, no dings or dents though. The inside of the tank has been recoated and looks good. The side panels are also in very nice shape. The seat is in excellent shape, no tears or holes. Both of the fenders have some light pitting, the front fender has a ding. The front wheel is from a newer bike and has some pitting. The rear wheel has a lot of pitting. It has extended front forks. The bike has a taillight from an older bike, it is missing all the turn signals and headlight. Also it is missing the gauges and possibly some wiring. The rear brake is working, but the front brake needs rebuilt. This bike has the oil in the frame and at one point must have had a leak, so it was welded and fixed. The frame does not appear to be modified otherwise. The bike is not currently running. It does turn over with great compression. It is a 650cc twin. It shifts through all the gears. The throttle moves smoothly. The clutch pull feels good. It is missing the plug wires and one of the airbox boots. It could also be missing more, look closely at the pictures. The exhaust pipes are in nice shape but there are no mufflers. This bike is a great candidate for a full restoration for your collection.
