Many suspension parts could be interchanged between Chevy models in 1963 revealing how the Corvette was slowly winding its way into a daily driver, as well as a weekend racer. Much attention was given to the passenger with increased protection from side blows and new rubber insulators that isolated running gear noise. New for the year was also the famous 'split-window' design, and the use of the Sting Ray name, thus why these cars are highly sought-after to this day. Many Corvette enthusiasts consider the '63-'67 Vettes the best American sports car of all time. This 1963 Corvette is a very iconic car. It was the first year for the new body and chassis. This offering from us has had a few changes that Larry Shinoda never dreamed of. First off it has added fender flares and metal flake paint, offset with Crager SS wheels and Thrush side pipes. The 300hp 327ci V8 is not original to the car but is in excellent running condition. The Muncie 4-speed is of 1965-67 vintage. The interior is tasteful with the black roll and pleated vinyl seats. The L88 hood gives the car looks to go with all the other added features. A very nice driver that only needs a little TLC to be a knock out. The paint is checking and the chrome needs attention. It has an AM/FM Radio, bucket seats and a factory tachometer. Purchased by the owner in 1989. Recent service of over $7,500 in May of 2016 by County Corvette of West Chester, Pennsylvania. This car also comes with an original 1963 Corvette shop manual. Great opportunity to own an entry level Corvette.
