For sale is a nice 1986 Honda Aspencade 1200. Looks very nice for a vintage cycle. A few scratches but for 32 years old it looks good! Great Highway bike and I really enjoy riding it. It does not do well if you let it get too hot. One hot day I was waiting at a bank drive through for 10-20 minutes and the transmission started to slip and it needed to cool down. After cooling down it was okay. I had the transmission oil changed and it has not had that problem since but i don't let it get too hot. I lowered the price after remembering to add this part to the description. I bought it because it has a great "throne" behind the driver for my wife to ride but my wife still likes riding on the back of my Silverwing better even though the Goldwing has a much better ride. (go figure). It has around 69,000 miles on it. Don,t recall exactly because bike is inside at my business and I am making this listing from home. The picture shows 67,851 but it was taken early 2017 when I was planning on selling it but decided to keep for one more summer. The bike is in the same condition as then but I have removed the right saddlebag cover because it had a hole shown in the photos. There are many replacements available on eBay.I have a Right side floor board (large highway riding footrest) in good condition but the left was stripped so I took them off. Left replacement is also available on eBay. You can see the mounting brackets in the photos of the right and left side of the motor. Radio works but cassette deck does not. That is also available on ebay if desired. I was going to replace those 3 items but since my wife likes the Silverwing better this one has to go. Seat is VERY comfortable with full backrest for driver and passenger! Last year the battery was showing age so I will put a brand new battery in it when sold and give buyer the dated receipt. It is a good bike for the price and I am willing to deliver it for one last good ride up to 200 miles or buyer can pick it up. $250.00 down pay through Pay Pal to hold. After having the issue with the transmission slipping badly, I had the transmission oil changed and rode it with my wife on it and it did well. That is when she said she liked the Silverwing better.It was then I decided to sell it so I have not driven it on a really hot day since then. I have taken it on a few highway trips up to about 70-80 miles but that was 70-75 degree days with most on the highway or country roads with no long stops or idling. One of those trips was last week and that is when I decided I would get a new battery for the new owner. I started it for the first time of the year and idled it for about 10-15 minutes and that was as long as it sat and idled on the whole trip. I am willing to drive it 200 miles to deliver it but I have not tested it on a really hot day therefore THERE IS NO GUARANTY ON THIS CYCLE. I have given a lower price to accommodate no guaranty.
