For sale is a 1975 MG Midget project. I started the project 18 months ago and since then I have moved twice and we are about to have a baby. I don't have time to complete. I started to do a bumper delete, the rear has fiberglass fender caps bolted to where the bumper used to bolt so the tail lights don't hang out with nothing under them. I have also modified the center stack to fit a touch screen with phone mirroring so you can use navigation, the new radio will come with the vehicle) The good: over $2500 in new parts. New carpet, new insulation, new door panels, new dash cap, new chrome headlight rings, new seat covers, new gear shift boot, new seat belts, new wipers, new door and window seals, new water pump, new brake master cylinder, new outer tie rods, new front brake lines, new rear shoes, new dual SU carbs, 4:1 high flow headers, new tires (wheels should be replaced as they are the original steel wheels). New transmission and gas tank were installed 2000 miles ago. All gauges work (fuel gauge needs to be calibrated as is reads 1/4 take when in fact it is empty... I found that out the hard way). New touchscreen radio will come with the vehicle as will newer speakers I fitted in the car before I started the rebuild. The bad: there is some rust in the following places: Pass floor board, front pass rocker, front and rear drivers rocker. Engine doesn't run right now as I was starting a rebuild with higher performance parts. Most of the rust has been cut out, the metal will need to be cleaned before repair is completed. Items needed to complete the build: extra vinyl to cover areas not covered by interior panels (probably about 2 yards from victoriabritish.com), new top (old top is torn and tattered), new wheels. Free time to complete build.
