1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible - Number 220 on the Dart GTS Registry. Original box A titled 81,448 mile car. Exterior: Rust free older restoration that has been sitting under a canopy in Mesa Arizona. The paint appears to have been done with base coat clear coat. The clear coat has failed on all of the top surfaces. The sides have a shine, but there is a dent in the drivers rear quarter that would need a repair. Chips and scratches are present all over the body. Interior: Seats are in great shape. Convertible top is in poor condition. Carpet is faded. Dash and door panels are in good condition. Very little is needed to make the interior very nice. A/C components are present under the hood as well as inside the car with the exceptions of the condenser in front of the radiator. Chassis : Very clean and rust free Engine compartment: Excellent condition. Drive Train: Original numbers matching 340. Non original 4 speed transmission. This Dart GTS was born with a 727 Torque flight automatic. This Dart appears to have been an original AC car. Mechanical and Drivablity: This Dart has not been on the road in many years. The tires are old. The engine runs well. The transmission shift properly. The clutch engages at the top. Probably need to be replaced. We have driven the car around the neighborhood, but I do not recommend driving it home. Recommissioning would be needed for a trip. It can be driven on to a car carrier for transport.
