Car is being sold with NO RESERVE, I need this out of my garage. If you are high bidder please complete the transaction or don't bid in the first place. This is a 2000 BMW 323 Ci convertible. Basically a 2 owner car. Given to a friend of mine by the original owner as a gift several years ago for appreciation of years of service. My friend passed away and after some paperwork I now have clean title in hand. Here is what I know about the car. It was placed in one of my rental properties for storage about 9 months ago when the reverse would not engage in the transmission. I personally drove it to the location and put it there myself. It drives fine, just no reverse. It had a dead battery after all this time so I put a loaner battery in it to start it up, the battery does not come with the car but you can have the old one for a core to get a new one. The car has 119K miles, so low miles for the year. My understanding is that the parts needed to fix the transmission are about $500. Has some damage up front lower left as seen in the picture. Front Windshield has a large crack in it. The driver seat I would recover but the other seats are in great shape for the year. Needs a good cleaning but nice paint and the convertible top which works is also in great shape. The car was garage kept all its life since new when not in use. I started it and drove it around the block today. Runs a little rough at idle but when warmed up it runs strong. Blows cold AC and all the electric windows work. Nice clean older BMW that needs reverse and a good detailing. Car is not currently registered or insured so we can take it out around the neighborhood but I will drive and no main roads. This car will sell no matter the price. I will be as flexible and open for inspections if anyone wants to take a look at the car before bidding. Please arrange a mutually agreeable time in advance. All inspections if you are going to make one need to be completed prior to you bidding, if you bid you agree to take the car as is with or without any inspections that may or may not have made. I will gladly work with you on shipping but shipping is your responsibility to set up and local pick up is flexible if you need me to hold it for you. Car must be paid for within 7 days of the end of auction regardless of when you want to pick it up. Deposit of $300 can be via Paypal, within 2 days but the balance needs to be either cash or check of any kind but it must clear my bank before I release the car for pick up.
