Vehicle Detail
1977 FORD F250 RANGER 4X4 VIN: F26HEX81408 THERE ARE OVER 70 HUGE IMAGES OF THIS TRUCK SHOWN BELOW! DESCRIPTION: This is a true NO RESERVE auction for a really mint looking 1977 FORD F250 RANGER 4X4. Known by most enthusiasts as "Highboys", this pickup had a total frame off restoration. The 54745 miles on the odometer are original as this was a barn find, rust free truck to start with! Even the bed isn't beat up! These trucks are becoming hard to come by and almost impossible to find in this kind of condition. NO RUST EVER! If you have been in the market for one of these particular vehicles, please give this one your strongest consideration. Finished in the original exterior paint color of Dark Jade Metallic, the truck looks amazing. There is very little that isn't new or rebuilt and we have over $15,000.00 in receipts for parts alone! The main stuff was all done like a rebuilt engine (not the original) and transmission as well as a Benchwork Inc. 4WD steering conversion kit. It would be easier to point out what wasn't done, to this truck, which isn't much. Factory A/C was overhauled and converted to R134a and the interior was completely redone. Miles of hoses, brake lines, cables, brackets, bushings, fittings, clamps and bags of new nuts, bolts, u-joints and other replacement hardware. Other new stuff would include, but not be limited to: Bumpers and brackets, outside mirrors, sliding rear window, steering wheel and horn button, rebuilt radiator, windshield, tailgate center panel, headers and complete dual exhaust system, cooling shroud, truck steps, steering damper, Hella H-4 headlights, lug nuts, switches and so much more. All of the receipts will be provided. We considered that most of the interested FORD folks will know much more about these particular pickup trucks than we do. If you do need additional generic information about these specific year trucks, it is abundant through the use of some very simple internet searches. This truck DOES run and drive better than it looks and everything works. The paint was hard to photograph because it shines so much that it is like a giant mirror and reflects absolutely everything! It recently passed New York States rigid inspection for safety (as shown). Our showcased truck is over 40 years old, so please forgive us if we overlooked something minor. The bright work is all unblemished and brilliant. The American Racing Mag wheels and the Yokohama tires (LT315/75R16) are new along with assorted shocks by Bilstein and Rancho. We have two keys and a clear title for this vehicle as well as the 2 original service manuals. As with all of our eBay Motors listings, we try to let our high resolution photographs tell most of the story about the vehicles that we are selling. All of the pictures you see were just taken by us and include shots from many angles including the total exterior, complete engine bay, full interior, bed and the undercarriage. If you study these photos very carefully, you will see exactly what this Highboy is all about. The clear high resolution images of this pickup, shown below, will do a much better job of describing the look, style, condition and current market value of this vehicle than our words ever could. Trust all our EBay feedbacks for honest evaluations. We invite all questions and comments and there will be NO RESERVE on this auction!
