My pride and joy for the last 2.5 years is for sale. Ill try to document the events of this bike from when I got it till now, might be a little lengthy but bear with me. I bought this bike from a guy who had it converted by a shop in Tennessee, it was an older gentleman who rode it for 2 hours, scared him and he parked it. This was initially setup as a dirt bike and I rode it for a half day in Ohio before I realized I didn't ever want to ride this in the woods again. I've ridden some crazy stuff but I've never had tunnel vision or the fear of death as much as riding this through woods. I tore the bike down to the frame, cleaned everything and proceeded to start the conversion into a supermoto. I toyed with all kinds of suspension setups and did quite a bit of tuning at Carolina Motorsports Park. I finally stumbled across a Showa A kit shock that TCD Racing had put together, I then sent the forks off to have them do a build on them. I'll do my best to list everything that has been done but undoubtedly something will get missed. I've changed fluids after every session, forks and shock has about 10 laps on them. I've always cleaned the chain, sprocket and wheels after every race. Also take note Service Honda is no longer building these due to lack of engines and parts. Bike has always been fed VP fuel and Maxima oils. NO TITLE!!!!!! Ebay wouldn't let me pick anything else. This is a race bike only!!!!! Edit** So I've had enough people asking about getting a title for the bike. So apparently South Dakota will allow you to get a title and make the bike street legal. I personally have never done it but have read enough that other's have done it. I would be happy to help with anything I can. Extras: I do have a spare motor from a '01 CR500 which has the taller 4th and 5th gear. It has been untouched and in storage since I aquired it, it can be sold for a fee.
