1979 Honda CR125 Elsinore (The Red Rocket as it was called back in the days) This is the only year that Honda made a 23” front Rim on the CR series race bikes (Rare Find as most have been replaced over the years with the standard 21” rims) This is the first year for the true long travel shocks This is the last year for the famous Honda Metal gas tank. (This tank has not been sealed, that is how good of shape it was in after 39 years) These tanks alone can sell for well over 500.00 in this condition. This would make someone an awesome show bike. Or if you want, Vintage racing at its best!! You will turn some heads with this bike. All parts removed, sand blasted then Powder coated/Painted By Bill’s Powder Coating and Grubbs Garage Complete Engine Rebuild by Precision Power Sports Boysen power Reeds have been installed when the engine was rebuilt Front forks have been completely taken apart, cleaned and seals replaced Rear shocks are new Progressive, set up for 180 LB rider (I have the stock shocks that will go with the sale) All Bearings on the Bike have been replaced New front and rear brakes New Plastics all around New Gold Chain, front and rear sprocket New Seat cover and formed pad Rims are the original “D.I.D.” that come with the bike Tires are used but in excellent condition. We kept this bike as close to OEM as possible I am sure that I am forgetting things, but this bike, is as close to new as we could get it.
