I purchased this car from an insurance company after a fender bender about 5 years back, had tons of worked done to it by a local body shop, drove it very little(few handful of times in the summer for the first few years and twice a year for the past few years). The damage wasn't anything extensive as thats how I wanted it to be since it was going to be my personal vehicle I was planning to keep for a while. It was completely stock when I bought it and the few upgrades it now has were done by me. From what I can recall I had the right headlight, right fender and front bumper replaced. This is a base model 2008 CLK550 with right about 35k original miles on it, with aftermarket 19" OZ Racing wheels and carbon carbon fiber front lip. The body is very straight aside for a single ding bellow the driver mirror, paint is in great condition and still shines like new, there maybe few light scratches but it is in overall excellent condition.It runs and drives great and the convertible top is in excellent condition and excellent working order. With that said it will need few things to make the car perfect. Here are the few things that I can think of off the top of my head- A new battery as the car has barely been driven in last couple of years. I may have a brand new battery put in, and if I do so I'll indicate it at the bottom of the page before the end of auction - One of the heater buttons in the cabin has recently gotten stuck and now it won't blow air- Since it sat around the cruise control light along with ABS light came on but that could be due to a dead battery- The TPMS light is on because I never intalled the sensors in the new wheels, but I do have the sensors sitting in the trunk of the car- Few of the plastic covers are missing in the engine bay- Alignment, as I never had it properly aligned after few years back replacing what I believe to be a right front lower control arm As I mentioned this is an unfinished project, I now have way too many cars and too many toys that I no longer have the space for this vehicle in my garages, It just has to go. Immediately after the auction is over I require a non-refundable $500 deposit made through Pay Pal and the rest must be paid via cash, cashiers check, money order, personal check with in the next 7 days. Once the payment is fully cleared I will release the vehicle along with the title. PLEASE PLEASE make sure you have the funds on hand and fully intend to purchase the vehicle before placing a bid.
