Vehicle Detail
.Here is a real pretty 70 chevelle I've had awhile that is a real head turner ! It's Fathom blue with pearl interior and has a whole lot of money spent on it. I'm looking to put some money in other places so i'm going to let my toy go to a new home. PLEASE NO BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 5 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING ME. THANKS It's not a 50,000 dollar museum piece but it sure is a fun driver. Enjoy it like it is or do some odds + ends of which some i mention below and take it to the next level. We all know 70's are climbing in desirability and price every day !! The motor runs and sounds Super. Smooth and quiet. The car sounds awesome with the complete new Flowmaster dual exhaust I had put on it last year. I also put on the original style Super Sport exhaust tips . I was told back when I bought the car it was not the original motor. For anyone interested the casting # on the block is 460776. It starts right up hot or cold. The 4 Speed transmission shifts very well and the car still has the original Lockout where it has to be put in reverse to remove the key. The car goes down the road nice. The brakes work well, I was told there was some brake work done just before I got the car. The emergency brake works as does the gas gauge. The wipers and blower don't go on. The original AM radio does go on but poor reception. I also had the car painted last year a beautiful base/clear urethane paint that was sanded and buffed to a real nice shine. The car needed minimal body work before paint. It still had the original paint on it that was all faded out. The front fenders and very lower rear quarters had steel repair panels welded on and finished off. The car has New bumpers, outside door handles and misc. other new chrome pieces installed on it. When I washed the car before putting it away for the winter I see the rear window should get resealed. The stainless trim around the front and back window could stand polishing and remove some dings in them. The car also has had a new radiator installed in the last couple years. The car has a nice solid frame and the floors all look real nice although I see the drivers pan has been patched. I also noticed the brace under the back bumper is bent but doesn't effect the car at all but wanted to mention it. The car has the original style Super Sport wheels on it with original style tires which can be driven as I have but they are old. The car has a new headliner and carpet along with new front and rear seat material. The miles show 29,502, I can only assume with the car being almost 50 years old the miles must be over. I drove the car on a transport plate so i never registered it. So for paperwork transfer I have a bill of sale i can give but also have the previous title that was just signed and handed to me along with a bill of sale. Please feel free to do any inspections before bidding. If you are unable to do an inspection yourself I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection you could check into. A 300. pay pal deposit due immediately upon auction end. balance due in either a check, bank to bank transfer or cash in person. My bank tells me any check should have atleast 5 business days to fully clear the system before the car or paperwork leaves. https://youtu.be/kykwc5jPu80On Apr-09-18 at 13:33:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for all the questions and Compliments, any others let me know.On Apr-09-18 at 14:24:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a few questions about the transmission. I was able to find some numbers on the transmission today and found a casting # which looks like 3925661 My book tells me it is a 1969 Muncie. I wouldn't have thought they would have put a Muncie in a small block Malibu but it looks like they did. . And it looks like it must have been an early 1970 vehicle if it has a 1969 manual in it. Anyway, I also saw 121819 stamped in the main case which is the last 6 numbers of the vin . So it looks to be the original transmission and it functions and shifts well. On Apr-11-18 at 02:55:53 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer another question it is a 12 bolt open rear end.On Apr-11-18 at 15:58:25 PDT, seller added the following information: A few ebayers emailed asking for a video of the car running. For those that didn't notice I posted a link at the base of my description. It gives some idea of how it sounds even though it picks up a lot of background noise. It has a real nice sounding motor that runs nice and smooth. ThanksOn Apr-15-18 at 06:24:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a few requests to end the auction early. Since it is a No Reserve auction I think it's only right to let it run to the end. Thanks
