Drives great COLD A/C Regency custom conversion done year one This is upgraded climate control vents for all rows, the 4 captain chairs, window pleated blinds, privacy glass from factory ,and the great fold out bed also used as 3 person bench seat in back, Van perfect for road trips, 15 to 16 mpg all day in large stable cushioned comfort, Tons of space for luggage and anything else, Can easily get 350 miles on a tank of fuel, Pics tell it all but let me know if you want some more ...starting price at $3800 bucks and reducing it on a scheduled program shown here and again at bottom of this ad. The timeline of lowering the price fairly and rather quickly is quite self explanatory so read it and enjoy, or read it and be enraged, its YOUR choice ! $without warranty but has been very good to me overall on almost every aspect. 115,000 miles and guaranteed not a totaled or salvaged or flooded washed title. I am not simply a dealer or short term owner so I know this cars history from day 1. Bought new by an in-laws friend, then my in-law owned it, then bought from in-law. What's nice about that is again the guarantee no funny business in this day of washed titles, hurricane flooded cars, and I have news for you. A car can be dang near a demolished salvaged mess and still show a clean car fax. Dealers and fly by night owners just take guesses on actual condition if they even bother with that, So that being said I will say this van is not perfect but still a great deal for those in the know and needing a multi purpose vehicle that you know is not a trainwreck. A few problems are the pesky mouse that chewed the tiny wire supporting cruise control linkage and the tiny wire for the control box for windshield washer pump. This will be shown in a picture and will show the small area nibbled. It is not a difficult fix and the cruise and washer fluid pump worked perfectly until that rodent. Strictly a lack of the electrical input to send the signals to the appropriate motor because of a hungry confused critter. The windshield plastic COWL driver side corner is missing due to hail striking it so I removed it at the fracture point. There are hail marks on hood and roof as further evidence of mother nature and its stupid frozen water clumps. Windshield glass is excellent with great visibility. Tires are great. I will show a picture of the WORST tread tire which still looks new. The rest will be even better. There is some clearcoat over the hood peeling back in some areas. Will also be in pictures. Perhaps from the extra heat of engine as it was doing that before the hail dinged it. Only the hood has this small layer peeling, Paint still looks nice but I am just mentioning it. I removed probably half of the striping that was applied from the custom van shop that upgraded it with goodies. It is the CORONADO model Regency conversion and the cloth upholstery and suspension is very comfortable. The carpet is not pristine, but is very nice , Perhaps It should be steam cleaned? Its not nasty of course I am just saying it would not hurt to steam clean carpet just like in a home, maybe one could eat off the floor of it then ???? I notice no smells or unpleasantness. Van has never been flooded and only has the two tiny parking lot issues as far as moving damage goes. One person backing into a bumper hence the ding on back bumper and one contacting a bumper in the front hence the front bumper. This is a Naturally aspirated V8 ladder truck chassis... the old frame on box and it STURDY. It is basically a strong pulling Chevy truck with tow ability that just happens to be fully enclosed and can haul 7 people in comfort. Full size spare in back with a perfect tire on it. All the flat and spare tire tools are included. The battery is less than 2 years old and is a good brand bought from the fine people at AutoZone. Bought January 2016 with lots of cold cranking amps. To be clear, you get the original spare tire jack and lug kit, 4 keys, the original owners manual, and 4 captain chairs. They all have arm rest and are comfortable. NO SQUEAKS, RATTLES , SHAKES or VIBRATIONS,. car tracks straight and true and power delivery is perfectly linear, well its as perfect as was engineered by GM. Very safe and simple to drive multi purpose vehicle. You get the CLEAR AND FREE perfectly clean TEXAS title, the only place the van has ever been registered. Side panels are pretty good condition with a GREAT metallic burgundy, I think it really looks nice and suits this Passenger Van, again the van is not a show condition but is well cared for. ALL The windows work except driver side roll up seemed a little weak 2 years ago but mostly nice and I do know 2 of the window shades have one of the 2 cords messed up. This means not all windows shades will go up unless fixed. So probably 80 % are perfect and 2 got accidentally clipped by yours truly. I have not tried to repair the cord but the shade and the pleats seem just fine. The 2 captain chairs in the middle are easy to remove and reuse and the 2 captain chairs in the front are comfy and have the right amount of height for easy driving. The 3rd row is a 3 person bench or fold flat bed or just couch when van is parked. The bench can probably be removed but will be significantly heavier and more cumbersome to move back and forth than the chairs. I have only removed the 2 middle chairs before and have them all in place now and ready for the new owners. Driver side front captain is power and the front Passenger side captain is manual forward and back. So only one captain chair is powered : ) As you can imagine I am not overly fond of typing about a car all day but that's the general workup on this one. I have really enjoyed driving it but less than 13,000 miles in 5 years due to other cars. Has come in super handy and hopefully it can do the same for the next lucky owner. TV Monitor works and I installed a back up camera. Great sounding stereo, comfy seats, safe ride height. Dirt cheap compared to a new MSRP, so its all good. Power steering is hydraulic and it tracks great unlike those new electric 4 cylinder electric steering toy cars. BUYER responsible for shipping cost or local pickup.KNOWN PROBLEMSDriver side window iffy going up about 18 months ago and so I had to apply upward pressure to the glass to aid it along. Window is still on tracks and linked to motor I just did not want to tempt its unknown fate. Put a Band Aid over window switch to be silly and have not messed with it since. Your mileage may vary but I just dont use it nowFuel pedal missing. Just use the steel bracket without the pedal and it works fine.I know partsgeek.com has the parts cheap but I just have never bothered with it. Say 35 bucks top from partsgeek. I really ALMOST did order one and fidget with it but have run it for years without the pedal. Car throttle works fine without and always passes safety inspectionPlastic cosmetic panel that covers interior of rear taillight is not attached, Super tiny plastic piece chipped off so it wont attach per norm, You cant see it unless rear doors are exposed and I simply left it off after replacing the rear brake bulb 15 months ago. You can have the package with the new brake bulb, and that is worth 5 bucks right there.... hoooray !Wires for cruise control and washer cleaner are cut, they need resplicing but I am too impatient for it. If you put an hour of time into it you will have them both work again unless you really suck with splicing wires : ) Easy access right under the hood.Hail damage on hood and roof, can only see hood of course unless you are 8 feet tallLOOK at pictures, paint is very nice but there are scuffs and paint chips. Overall looks great especially if you like burgundy or candy apple red paints.Plastic corner windshield cowl missing. Purely cosmetic of course.Flat part of dashboard that gets the most sun is a little weathered looking. I have a full windshield screen wrap but I guess its mostly time exposed on the horizontal surface. Strictly cosmetic again.The upholstery is clean and comfortable but not perfect. I see no holes or tears anywhere but it could be cleaner. I see no nasty large stains or horrific issues.2 of the 12 or so overhead lights have the exterior wrap a little loose. They dont seem to like to be flush to the headliner. They work and light up but its just not perfect. This is a super easy fix but I just have not bothered. Just being honest and letting you know I have noticed this over the years so there it is.2 of the 9 or so window pleated blinds will not raise. I accidentally clipped the cord that the pleats guide on. Its a simple fix but not needed unless you need crazy levels of privacy. VCR/ VHS does not power on, All worked great in 2016 but unclear why the vhs receives no power... fuse or loose wire is a good guess! Again the television itself is great and sound system is linked correctly to it . Big problems that are really important are non existent while I have owned this. The powertrain is silky smooth and strong. The suspension, steering, brakes, lights, and of course music work in great harmony. I feel very safe in this 2000 Chevy van. OODLES of seats and seat belts and the windshield is clean and the wiper blades work great. Its making me sad thinking about selling it now so thats all I will brag on. I have sold 4 cars on here over the years and everyone is always happy. I have the title and its clear. It is right here in my hand and ready to sign over. I title changed the owner from 2 people to just myself and thats why you see some TITLE changes in the carfax. Will work with finance through a bank only, I,e. YOUR bank as do not ask me for personal finance or loans. NOT going to happen.
