1971 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible. READ ENTIRE AD!!! VERY RARE. 351 Cleveland - True 4-Barrel heads - which makes this car even more rare. 351 is matching #'s - C6 transmission - 9 inch rear end. Have owned the car for over 20 years and has been garage kept. South Florida car, so even though garage kept it still has rust in the quarter panels (see photo). Rest of car is not showing rust. Convertible top replaced years back with an expensive heavy duty canvas. No rips or tears. In excellent shape. Top goes up and down smoothly, as it should. Interior is in pretty good shape. Original seats were reupholstered by previous owner and still in good shape (see photos). Original AM/FM 8 track player. Instrument panel has not been modified in any way. Dashboard has no cracks. Door panels show a little wear but still look good. Carpet is not bad either. The frame of the car is in good shape with no rust. No rust in floor pans either. Trunk has a couple small holes where a fire extinguisher was previously mounted and removed. Have photos available. Brakes feel like they are manual, but are power brakes. Probably an easy fix.
