You are bidding on a one owner 2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. My wife bought this 2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible brand new in 2001. This Mustang has been an incredible little car and we have been able to keep it garaged since 2005 when we bought our house. It has never been in an accident. Within the last 10K miles, we have replaced the tires, brakes, had a tune-up, a front-end alignment, a new battery and had the coolant and transmission flushed as part of normal continued maintenance and upkeep. The car developed a coolant leak recently, but we discovered it before the engine even heated up, so it never overheated. Both the heater core and intake manifold were the cause and both were replaced professionally along with all new hoses and I have all of the receipts for the repair. There have not been any other issues mechanically with this car. The engine still runs very strong, the car drives great and we have always changed the oil at the specified intervals. It is a great running and driving car. The AC is ice cold! and the car has never been raced or mistreated. We had it repainted (original black) back in 2011 as it was beginning to fade a little due to the Florida sun where my wife parked it at work each day. I keep it waxed and polished up and the cloth interior is in good condition with no tears at all. Things that need a little TLC. The convertible top needs to be replaced at some point but is still in ok condition. The convertible top motor which raises and lowers the convertible quit working a few months back and they are about $200. We decided not to replace it since we are selling the car. The anti-skid traction and ABS have sensors that are out but once again, we decided not to replace the sensors since we are selling the car. Also, the passenger window switch is intermittent. I know it is the passenger switch as the driver switch for the passenger side window works fine in raising and lowering the passenger window just fine.
