Vehicle Detail

Look no further, this is your new baby! I don't have to tell you what a head turner she is, you know because you're looking. This is a great condition Maserati GranTurismo. If you don't know much about these cars, let me oblige. This version has a 4.2 litre V8 engine designed in conjunction with Ferrari with 405 HP and an automatic ZF gearbox six-speed transmission. This means you have all the fun, sound, and speed of a Ferrari, without the costs. The automatic trans means you don't have the $10k clutch replacement costs every 15k miles. This trans will last for a long time, no clutch replacements necessary!! The paddle shifters on the steering wheel make you feel like you're driving in the Indy 500. Put her in sport mode and the shift patterns change so you can really ride the gears out :) The engine is powerful and fierce. Do a search, they last for well over 100k miles when maintained. The sound is nothing like you'll ever hear. You're bidding on one of the best sounding Maserati's out there. I see a ton of these living in south Florida, this is the best and loudest by far. Talk about turning heads! There are a ton of custom parts, custom front and rear bumpers, painted calipers, custom carbon fiber trunk spoiler ($3,000) Custom exhaust, and much more I can't think of. The exterior:The wrap is a little over 2 year old. The Florida sun is not nice, some parts on the bumpers are peeling. There are some small stains on the wrap that only the owner of the car would ever notice. I've got some quotes to get the peeling parts fixed, it's about $250. I bought the car with a wrap on it, so I've never seen the (Black) paint, but two shops have said they believe the paint under the wrap great, because there is no discrepancies they can see. In fact, it has a clear coat on the hood and panels above the tires to protect the paint, which is visible through the wrap. The front bumper is the new style, as seen in the photos. It has some imperfections. One part has what looks like stress fractures. the very bottom has been scraped on parking curb stops. Same with the rear diffusers. See photos. Under the wrap the bumper doesn't look to be painted. The whole wrap can be removed and you'll have an all black car for $600 or so. The bumper is the NEWER style bumper. It is a fiberglass aftermarket part that would cost you $4k plus install which would be another $3k. Do your research when looking at these older cars, the costs to make them look new is huge, this one is already done for you. Get the 2017 look with a quarter of the price. The interior is fantastic. Some trim has been wrapped in carbon fiber, which still looks great. The arm rest in the back has some wear, but isn't bad at all (who sits in the back anyway). The driver's side door has a small area where the leather has a mark, but can be fixed and doesn't bother me, so I never did. The radio has some of the sticky wear that older cars get, but it can be wiped off with some elbow grease. I just don't have the patience or care that much. The headliner was just replaced by a shop at a significant cost, and is pristine. The car still smells new inside. The oil was changed at 55,555 in April of last year. It has 57,250 (will have more as I drive almost daily) and will probably need to be changed again in April (Once a year or 5k miles). You can buy the oil off Amzn for ~$50 for 6 quarts (needs 10) and a filter from Formula Dynamics. The air filter was also changed. I'm including a cabin filter ($125) and belts (couple hundred dollars). It didn't need either, but I bought them just in case. Mechanically this car is pristine. She runs awesome an shifts smooth. I had her in utah and started the car in sub zero temps with no problems. Now shes in florida and loving life in the warm temps. No weird engine noises, shakes, etc. Truly a turnkey car. The brakes are brand new from Formula dynamics, professionally installed. Rotors were cut. All at less than 100 miles on them. Receipts included. Front tires are BRAND NEW with less than 100 miles on them. Rear tires are at 70% or so, so tons of life left. The audio system is Bose. It has a subwoofer in the rear. The previous owner had a parrot bluetooth audio system installed. It works great, but sometimes you can hear a crackling when it's off. I think it's just interference from the parrot/radio interface, because you can't hear anything when one or the other is on, it's only when they're both off. It is nice to have hands free in the car though, cause you want both hands on the wheel at all times working those paddle shifters, your own personal race car :) I want to make it clear that this car NEEDS nothing. She's awesome and ready to go. You don't want to buy an exotic that is a garage queen with leaking gaskets, etc. This one is ready to go. I'm an honest guy and have driven this car at least once a week for the last year +. The bad: Sometimes there is a dash light for an adaptive headlight failure. It goes on/off when you go over bumps. There are two sensors, one on the front control arm, one on the back. Water might have got into one, but I'm not sure. The headlights work great, and you can see them move when you start the car, but I'm assuming they don't follow you through a turn and that's why the dash light is on (check the youtube video for adaptive headlights to see what I mean) has no effect on the function of the headlights so it's never bothered me, but still it's there. There is also a dash light for the tire pressure sensors. There are brand new OEM sensors installed, but they're not programmed into the car. Shop told me you have to drive for a while to get them working, but they still haven't read yet and they may have to be reprogrammed into the car. Full car walk around start/run video, I can't figure out how to post links without them kicking the listing off. so shoot me a message and I'll send it direct. Ebay only allows 24 photos, there's over 50 where I took close up's of any damage just shoot me a message and I'll send it. For the undercarriage photos, had the shop remove some of the undercarriage protective panels so you can fully see what's under the car in the photos, but they were reinstalled on the car after the photos were taken. Cost to own: Insurance is $2600 a year for full coverage. Florida car insurance is expensive so anywhere else would be cheaper I'm sure. Oil changes and misc maintenance figure $500 a year. That's all! The Carfax is clean and clear, as is the autocheck (It's included FREE in the auction, see above). No rollbacks or floods, salvage, title washing, etc. It did have a minor accident, but it wasn't enough to do much. I believe it was the drivers side behind the door. You can't tell and I bought the car like this. You should know that the slightest accident's total these exotic cars, so that's how minor it was. It's MY car, not my uncles, cousins, parents, friends or anything else. I have the Clean and Clear Utah title in my name, private sale. I'll leave the sale price off the title so you can put whatever you want (saving thousands in taxes) so consider that in your purchase price. No BS after auction dealer fees, etc. If you want to know something or need a better picture or video, just ask. I will gladly assist with shipping. I had it shipped (when I bought it) from Virginia to Utah for about $1200, then again from Utah to Florida for about the same. The fair value is $36,900 with stock parts. The newer style bumper, wrap, carbon fiber diffuser, and spoiler would add over $15k to your purchase if you wanted to do this to any other older Maserati. I have a copy of the window sticker showing $115k msrp. Very cool thing to have. If you want to come see it, I'll give you a ride so you can see for yourself what a great car she is. No dreamers, no BS, No trades. I require a $500 deposit via paypal in 24 hours. Full balance due in 3 days via wire transfer for non-local bidders or cashiers check in person at the bank ONLY. Ask questions before bidding, come look before bidding. This is a USED car that's over 10 years old, bid as such. There are things I am either forgetting or not noticing, but I've done my very best to disclose everything known about the car. 2008 Maserati granturismo Ebay - YouTube Video will open in a new window[isdntekvideo]
