In late 2003 (3,700 miles ago) the car underwent $13,000 in restoration, including new paint, pin stripe, door moldings, grill, door and window seals, seat covers, horse hair pads and box springs. This car also has a dealer replacement engine(tag on the block to prove it). One family has owned this car since new. Brook Firestone(of Firestone Winery) purchased the car new and then passed it on to his daughter; the car then underwent restoration to prepare it for the next generation of ownership but the grandson was not interested. This is an amazing car to drive, especially around town. It feels incredibly tight and fresh for a 39 year old W123.
