1999 BMW M3 convertible e36 automatic. We purchased this vehicle from a local BMW dealer. It was traded in on a new BMW. Mechanically the car runs and drives great. Transmission shifts smoothly. There are NO abnormal engine noises, leaks or smoke. All warning indicators (Check engine, Abs Etc) are off. Vehicle has passed the California stringent smog emissions test. The AC blows ice cold and the heater gets hot. All the power accessories work as they should. The original stereo is gone and has been replaced with an alpine cd stereo with Bluetooth. The previous owner most likely had the top down often because the interior does have some sun fading. The front seats still have the original M logo. All 4 wheels are very nice and have the M logo. Spare tire is a fullsize spare rim. The convertible top is working however the elastic strap portion of the convertible top has lost its elasticity. When you drop the top sometimes you will have to help it clear the tonneau storage cover. The only way to fix this issue is to replace the top. When closing the top there are no issues. I have been quoted $800 for a new top. The right rear quarter panel shows some fade in the clear coat near the trunk edge, the passenger fender has a small scrape (Please See pics). The glove box door is a little warped. Common on the e36 body. Drivers seat has a small tear as seen in the pictures We strive to represent our vehicles in their true condition.
