Vehicle Detail
2005 Chevrolet Silverado. Regular cab short bed. Just over 102,000 miles. I did not dump a bottle of super detail shine all over her for the photos. This is her everyday look. She will clean up much better than the photos. I have owned it since she was about 60000 miles. I've had it for about 6 years. I haven't driven it much in the last two-and-a-half years. 4.3 L 5 speed manual. Good Chrome. Nice paint. All the glass is good. The interior is nice. No rips or tears and it cleans up really good inside. The truck has been lowered 2 iiiinches in the front and 4in in the rear. Control arms in the front. And front and rear shackles in the back. Front ball joints front rotors and brakes all have less than 5000 miles.I change the oil every 3500 miles with synthetic or synthetic blend. But I usually used Schaeffer's Oil full synthetic.Firestone Destination tires are lightly worn evenly. Lots of tread left. Probably 70% or better.Strong battery.About 2 years ago I swapped out the Fleetside bed for a Stepside bed. I had it painted. Looks really good and sporty. Nice stance. My intention was to do an LS3 swap but I have my sights set on a house at the moment. It's a good truck. Goes down the road straight. Stops really good. The driver side rocker panel is Rusty underneath. But that's expected with a Chevy truck. The cab corners are solid. Everything else is solid. All drivetrain is Factory stock. I've never messed with it. The exhaust is stock and sounds really good and quiet. It does have a roll pan instead of a rear bumper. I love the look of a roll pan with a Stepside. I CAN PUT THE REAR BUMPER BACK ON IN PLACE OF THE ROLL PAN. The air conditioner works great. Never had a problem with it or anything mechanical under the hood. Original clutch. The rear end makes no noise. She appears to be a mechanically sound truck and I would drive her anywhere. I have a shipping broker I work with on a daily basis at my place of employment. She would be happy to help me ship this truck anywhere at a good price. Factory stereo. Nothing has been changed except the rear bumper. The front grill. And it has been lowered. She handles really well now that she's lowered. Takes the corners like a sports car. Send any questions you might have. Everything works to my knowledge. Climate controls work. AC and heat work. All the dash gauges and lights work fine. The motor sounds great. No nox no ticks. Does not burn any oil. It's a 4.3 L with only a hundred thousand miles. These motors are good for 250,000 miles if you keep that oil changed and I've seen them go much higher. At one time this was my only truck so I had to baby it. There is no rattle rattle Thunder clatter while driving it. Goes down the road good. Quiet. Straight. It does not need a front end alignment. Or any front-end work that I'm aware of. The tires are not worn uneven at all. It's been sitting in my garage only being driven about every month or so into town through the car wash and back home.NO LEAKS!!!!!!
