We acquired this Mini Cooper during the acquisition of a large number of vehicles. At the time we got the vehicle, the transmission was not working. We acquired a used transmission from LKQ that had approximately 60,000 miles on it . During the replacement of the transmission, we replaced the harmonic balancer, ball joints, brake pads, brake rotors, accessory belt, oil filter, air filter, and replaced all the fluids. The exterior of the car has gone through a 2-step polishing process and the paint is very clean. We finished off the exterior detailing with a ceramic coating on the paint and the plastic trim. The interior has been cleaned and the leather went through a conditioning process with Leatherique and the leather is soft and supple as it was new. There are a few issues with the car to be open and honest about. The convertible top does not work. It slides back partially for a sunroof effect, but then does not actuate and fold back. There is also some wind noise from the upper right corner of the top where it meets the windshield. I believe that this is a gasket/seal for the front windshield that would need to be replaced. The transmission that was put into the car works great but seems to shift harder that is should. It could be as simple as the car needing to learn the new parameters of the transmission and just needs to have some miles on it. I'm not completely sure, but it does drive decent. I am a dealer, but there are no additional dealer fees associated with the purchase of this car. If you are a FL resident, I am required to also collect FL sales tax on the final purchase amount. The vehicle is available for inspection prior to the auction completion.
