Vehicle Detail
You're looking at a 2002 4Runner Sport. Original owner with 95% highway miles. Well taken care of and all fluids always changed on time. New Radiator, tires have about 8,000 miles on them, and the front rotors are the heavy duty Brembos (they wont warp). Custom white face gauge plates (cannot get these anymore) and custom Sirius radio mount. It also has a moon roof, alarm and automatic start. Engine is super strong, steering is tight, suspension is good, body has a small dent in the D/S rear bumper and misc dings which is common for a vehicle this age. The transmission has a slight hard shift when you're on the highway. I will assume the new owner at some point may need to look into changing it out. I just drove the car about 2,500 miles to Texas with zero issues (except for feeling the slight hard shift on the highway as the transmission shifts). This engine will go another 150,000 miles easy if you eventually fix any issues with the transmission. No warranty and buyer must pick the vehicle up from Houston, Texas (a location to be determined later). Starting the bid at 1,500.00. PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A ONE OWNER VEHICLE. IT WAS REGISTERED UNDER A FAMILY MEMBERS NAME WHEN I DEPLOYED WITH THE MILITARY SO IT SHOWS TWO OWNERS. THIS IS NOT THE CASE, I HAVE BEEN THE OWNER SINCE 2002. Just added a brand new battery today (Sunday 2/25) as the truck has been parked for about a month or so and the battery needed a jump. I replaced it with a Triple AAA battery with a 6 year warranty. Also, the correct mileage is 228,069 (may go up a bit by 20-30 miles). PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A ONE OWNER VEHICLE. On Feb-25-18 at 10:28:01 PST, seller added the following information: While getting the truck ready for the winning bidder (car wash, new battery $140, cleaning it all out) the engine light came on. The oil has been changed recently and the truck doesn't burn oil so it was taken and checked on a handheld computer. Seems the code outlines an issue with a charcoal box which is some pollution control thing. I've been advised it doesn't affect driveability and wont cause any other issues, it's an isolated issue and I've been told the box is an easy fix if you're handy. and have the space to work. That being said I may re-list the item explaining this new issue or will remove $200 from the sale price so the winning bidder can use that $200 towards a fix. Any bids after the current bid I will assume you're good with this. I'm also waiting on the current winner to get back to be on what they want to do.
