Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This car is a very special no-expense spared custom twin 57mm turbocharged beast. All work professionally done using high-grade components. The original LS2 was fully built to withstand 15lbs of boost on a regular basis (I am only running 7lbs) with forged internals including Callies rods, Mahle pistons, ARP main studs, etc. Fasterproms in Florida added fully ported 317 heads, stage II manifold, throttle body and custom turbo cam and tuned the car. Turbo setup has approximately 1,500 miles. Dyno sheet included showing 653 horsepower to the rear wheels on pump gas with 9lbs of boost. Fully adjustable coilover suspension with polyurethane bushings. To use all the horsepower, a stand-alone Racelogic traction control computer system was installed. This allows the driver to set the desired slip percentage to the rear wheels on demand. What this means is that you can floor the gas pedal on launch, through a turn, or in the rain and the system will electronically deliver only enough horsepower to allow the percentage slip you dial-in. This system was designed for F1 cars, but the “unfair advantage” was outlawed, leading Racelogic to discontinue production. They still offer support for the units they sold and used units command a premium. Google it ! Only 142 automatic black with red interior cars were built in the final production year. This GTO still maintains all of the creature comforts it was born with. It is in show quality condition, both inside and out and never raced. Inspections are welcome, I am located near Tampa, FL.
