Original Early 1970 Honda Trail CT 70 Here we have for sale a nice old original early 1970 Honda Trail 70 motorcycle. These early CT70’s are some of the most highly sought after and collectible mini bikes that you can own today. These early bikes just scream nostalgia and vintage motorcycle. I bought the bike from the original owner who had stored this bike in his garage for many many years. He kept good care of the bike, however, the bike came from humid and arid California and the bike shows some good patina all over it. The paint is patina’d, the chrome is patina’d, the rubber is original on the bike and shows weather checking. This is a great, original, patina’d, survivor bike that runs and rides well. I rebuilt and tuned the original carburetor. I adjusted the valves and checked the timing. I changed the oil and put a new OEM NGK plug and Honda air filter in the bike. It starts up first kick, just as how a well tuned, Honda mini bike should. I also put a new battery in the bike as well. The seat was replaced with a new replacement seat but it does have a small little tear in it. I do have the original seat that went with the bike that’s in pretty good shape. It just has a couple of tears near of the front of the seat base. I had this seat so I replaced it but the original one can go with the bike if the new owner would like it. The original dealer sticker is still on the chain guard on the bike. The original plastic headlight bucket is solid, and not broken or replaced. People always replace these on their bikes, it’s hard to find them still in decent condition and in original condition. The speedometer works. The electrical all works on the bike. The bike comes with the original Honda key too! The bike comes with the original California title from the original owner. I never retitled it since it’s been in my collection. The headlight switch knob is broken. I have a new OEM style replacement that will go with the bike too. They are super easy to replace. I can do it for the new owner if they would like me too. The tires are old but still hold air. Overall, the bike is in good shape, and shows a good amount of weather and patina on it. That’s just because of the environment that it was stored in. The bike just has a mere 2,100 original miles. This is a bike to ride and have fun with. It’s not a show bike but just a true, old original, survivor that deserve to be cherished and be ridden again while camping or at your home or wherever!
