1955 Chevrolet Step-side, right color-RED Description – This is a very good truck, I am selling for a friend. My buddy sold his house that had 2 garages, and he is selling some of his cars, that he has had a little while due to not having the room that he used to. I just sold his 1959 Impala about a month ago, and this is #2 to sell, and will be others I’m sure. (I would like to have this one) This is a truck you can drive anywhere at any time. Enough said. ENGINE: 350 , mild cam very mild, for a good driver. Holley carburetor. Runs, handles, drives, stops, good. Drive anywhere. Rear end is a 12 bolt posi, out of a 1966 ChevelleTransmission is a 5-speed, with Wil-wood hydraulic clutch great for cruise to any show, no trailering needed.Aluminum radiator with electric fan, runs cool driving or in traffic.Aluminum pulleys, and power steering Aluminum intake, with a Holley Carb. Starts up and idles great, ready to drive. No playing with gas to keep running. BODY/EXTERIOR: - 4 wheel disc brakes, chrome brake boosterNew wheels and tires, and has the perfect stance and tuck under the truck, 245/45/18 & 275/50/18It is now a sub-frame under the truckAll the exterior chrome is great, from the bumpers, door handles, door mirrors, grill, parking lights, etc..All the glass and rubber is all newLook inside the bed, shaved down the wheel tubs, still fit a bigger tire under it if you like.Paint, is driver quality, body is good, gaps are very nice, but the guy that built the truck, had something in his paint or whatever, BUT with that being said, there are some spots that you can clearly see it is in the paint work NOT body work. I would describe it as, when paint is wet, hitting the paint with a towel, some places has a little pitting, small pits, like a smudge spot, there is a few of those spots, BUT, you can only tell up close, 5 foot away you can’t see. I will try to get a close up pic to show and then look at a normal pic, you won’t be able to see it from 5 feet away.Inside the bed looks very nice, clean, and neat. The wood is like a painted and the chrome strips installed, it is differently done and look very nice and clean. Also added the gas tank in the rear of the bed, you can see the gas cap in the picture. All the bolts in the bed are stainless New wipers, chrome, seems to be slow to startTail gate opens from inside bed, no problems INTERIOR: - Has bucket seats, console, new carpet Stereo is unreal, sounds awesome, has an amp, very clear to play those oldies at car shows or cruise ins.Has the dolphin gauge cluster and they work, dash lights workHas power seatHas tilt wheel, with the nice 3 spoke steering wheel. Has a light tint on the windows, and makes the red color stand out, and it is legal tint. EXTRAS: ALL the lights, blinkers, headlights, parking lights, dome light, dash lights, etc.. Work like they should. I WILL Assist with SHIPPING, ONCE THE Truck IS PAID FOR, EITHER YOUR SHIPPER OR I have used several companies that are good, quick, and take care of you vehicle. Once truck is paid for, IF you need, can hold up here for bout 3 weeks for you availability.
