Vehicle Detail
See the original sticker photo for what this car is all about (or look at the listing itself). As you can see in the last photo, there is some scraping and scratches on the rear passenger side panel. My garage door got smaller overnight one time and I scraped past it. This can likely be repaired with some same color paint and buffing, but I never got around to it. Otherwise, this car is pretty much in perfect condition. I have most of the maintenance records, and so far that's only been the normal wear and tear stuff. I haven't had any other issues. Realistic mileage I have gotten with this is about 31MPG (regular, not premium) with probably 60% highway and 40% city. The highest mileage I ever got was 41MPG, the lowest was 26MPG when I was tracking it. This won't get you a sticker for the carpool lane. This has a 6-speed transmission, not a CVT (which is probably why the mileage is a bit lower than most hybrids). It's also much roomier inside, and rides nicer than most of the true hybrids (I'm looking at you, Prius). The heated and cooled seats are pretty nice, in my opinion. I also have an EXTENDED warranty on this vehicle, the "Platinum" package. Which covers pretty much anything that isn't cosmetic. This is good through 05/2023 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It's transferable with a $40 check to USW (the extended warranty company) - which is up to the purchaser to do. I have all the documentation for that. I also have the maintenance package for this, but that's due to expire May 27th, 2018 so this won't be nearly as useful. I also got suckered into buying the Paint Sealant, Fabric Seal, and Leather Protectant when I bought the car. My loss is your gain (albeit a questionable one). Title is free and clear and belongs to me, so no bank payoffs needed. If you want additional photos, ask me early in this listing. The car is currently is storage and i'd need to run over to take pictures which may take a day. It's only been in storage for about a week; and only because my HOA doesn't want a car in the community parking area so I needed to put it somewhere. As with most folks, I prefer cash - but a very authentic looking cashiers check will work as well. Or we can do Escrow I believe, though any fees for that will have to be covered by the purchaser. TBH, I have no idea how to actually do this. But it apparently can be done and I'm ok with that if that's what you are more comfortable with. Finally, the reserve of this is $11,850 (I list that because the last time I sold a car I got asked that question numerous times). This is what CarMax offered me (plus $100 for this listing) and I want to see if auctioning it off will net me more. I won't take less than that for obvious reasons. Please don't ask.
