First I just want to say I am really looking to sell this car not just look at it online and the reserve price is very low considering what it is worth. This is the one you have been looking for, The ac system is brand new, the right color and has the t tops. I Bought this car roughly a year and a half ago and hoped I would keep it for ever. Unfortunately, the car needs to be sold to pay for some house repairs. This car was originally Platinum Poly Silver w a blue interior. It is a true WS4 Trans Am. The car was pulled apart before I got it and fully repainted in the "Bandit Black and Gold" 79 Special Edition. The paint is mirror like as seen in several of the photos. There is no rust on this car. The interior was replaced with a correct black cloth interior. The original 403 (rated at only 186 hp) engine was replaced with a slightly modified 1995 Pontiac/GM TPI LT1 350, reportedly touching 300 HP. Cold air intake, BBK 58 mm TPI, and Magnaflow dual exhaust are what can be seen, the previous owner sold it as having been "beefed up" internally. All that puts the power to the street via the same 95 era 4L60E 4 speed auto transmission back to a GM 10 bolt rear. Unknown what gearing is in the pumpkin. However, this car has been also upgraded to four wheel disc brakes. She has the gold snow flake wheels with BFG T/A radials wrapped around them. Other features include a brand new A/C set up, PW, Cruise Control and Tilt wheel., rear mounted battery, limo tint on the windows, Halo/Angel eye headlight trim and HID headlights, new T-Top seals and a Kenwood removal faceplate stereo with four additional speakers. The car fires right up and has an awesome growl at idle and really cranks it up when you hit the gas. This Trans Am will give you all the looks of the bandit era T/As and much better performance across the board.
